Full-Time IT Technician

The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a highly qualified candidate with outstanding skills at Information Technology and Network Administration. Reporting to the director of the college, the successful candidate will be responsible for the internal network, computer systems and softwares and is expected to be engaged in troubleshooting and other hardware and software services.
Duties
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues.
- Set up and maintain local area networks (LAN) and office equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates and backups.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technologies and systems.
- Document technical procedures and create user manuals.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Knowledge of LAN setup and configuration.
- Familiarity with office productivity software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
